Mathematics has played and is playing a vital role in the rapidly changing world of Science and Technology. Thanks to the modern technology through which we can exploit the worldwide network of seismic sensors to predict earthquakes, an advance over biology and medicine, through data mining discover the patterns and structures hidden in different collections and import the satellite data to detect terrorist’s events before they happen. Scientists in all fields of research use Mathematics to analyze their data, within a computer almost always involves Mathematics. Through mathematical calculations and measurements, engineers and architects ensure that the buildings and structures they build are safe. That’s why Mathematics is taught at every level of education. Institute of Mathematics provides a comprehensive curriculum that covers different aspects of mathematics and various streams of study to cater for the diverse career goals of the students.
Institute of Mathematics has experienced, dedicated, and passionate faculty who has a hand in modern research and quality teaching per global educational standards and are contributing to the socio-economic development of Pakistan through impactful research and outcomes-based academic practices. As a result, we are producing scientists and engineers fully equipped with modern mathematics tools and knowledge with a strong understanding towards real-world and engineering problems.
Our goal as a faculty is to foster an environment that is supportive and collaborative to develop outstanding scholars and researchers. With an outstanding faculty, we support each individual to flourish in their chosen area, whether it be teaching, research, or developing a vital skill that is crucial to the objectives of this faculty.
