Introduction and Overview

According to The United Nation's 1987 Report of the World Commission on Environment and Development: Our Common Future noted that sustainable development meets the needs of the present without compromising the well-being of future generations. Khwaja Fareed University of Engineering & Information Technology (KFUEIT) is adopting all the basic standards of sustainability: Environment; Viable; Economic; Equitable; Social and Bearable and is transforming it into a sustainable Green Metric institution.

KFUEIT is a newly established University ensuring low CO2 evolvement: renewable sources, water treatment, plantation and forestry, green lawns and non-fuel vehicles etc. Various sustainability-oriented courses are included in the undergrad and postgraduate programs.

The KFUEIT is has set the goal to achieve Net Carbon Neutrality by 2030. The university is committed to this huge task and  working tirelessly to achive this goal for the green and sustainable future. The university is publishing the sustaibility reports annually detailing its commitment and work done in line with SDGs. These reports are provided below.
