Introduction

Welcome to the Department of Life Sciences at the Faculty of Natural and Applied Sciences. It was established as an independent department in 2020 with the primary aim to promote education in the fields of Zoology and Botany.

The Department of Life Sciences aims to create a conducive academic environment that promotes both research and education that improves students’ cognitive skills in life sciences and modern biotechnologies. This will allow them to compete in the labor market in line with the future visions

We encourage you to work collectively to achieve the department’s vision of being a leader in the field of zoology, botany and their applications in the environment, and biotechnology at all levels through studying and solving problems and conducting scientific research that serves the community.
