The Department of Electrical and Biomedical Engineering at Khwaja Fareed University of Engineering & IT has established a state-of-the-art High Voltage (HV) Laboratory equipped with advanced testing facilities, providing a comprehensive range of testing services. Our laboratory offers a wide range of testing services, specializing in High Voltage insulation systems and equipment. Over the years, we have contributed to numerous research, development, and testing initiatives, playing a significant role in advancing transmission, distribution, high voltage engineering, and insulation failure technologies.

Our HV Laboratory is designed for the precise evaluation of materials and the detailed analysis of High Voltage phenomena. We provide essential insights into the condition of assets and conduct product testing before they enter the market. Supported by advanced technology and a skilled team, we offer comprehensive testing services that cater to both academic and industrial needs, ensuring high standards of accuracy and reliability

Our High Voltage Testing Facilities

We maintain comprehensive indoor and mobile outdoor high voltage testing services capable of performing tests to IEC, IEEE, ASTM and other national and international standards.

Our engineers are actively involved with standards committees, the evaluation of new materials and their environmental impacts, and the development of advanced test methods. Our ongoing involvement and assistance in research mean we remain up to date with new products and technologies.
