Programs Being Offered
Undergraduate Programs
The candidate seeking admission in BS Physics Program, must meet the following eligibility criterion
a) Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) with Physics or equivalent with 45% marks.
OR
a) 3 years Diploma of Associate Engineering with Physics and Mathematics courses securing at least 60% marks.
b) KFUEIT recognized/valid aptitude test (KFAT / NAT /KFEAT/ ECAT/ MDCAT).
Graduate Programs
The candidate seeking admission in MS Physics Program, must meet the following eligibility criterion
a) 2.5/4.0 or 3.5/5.0 in semester system or 50% in the annual system. NTS GAT General Test with minimum 50% cumulative score / KFGAT with a minimum 50% cumulative score are mandatory.16 years of education in the following disciplines:
- MSc Physics
- BS Physics
- Any other relevant degree
Doctoral Programs
To be eligible for admission in PhD Physics Program, a candidate must meet the following eligibility criterion
a) 3.0/4.0 in semester system or 60% in annual system. NTS GAT (General) / HEC test with a minimum 60% cumulative score
OR
a) International GRE Subject test with a minimum 60% percentile score
OR
a) Departmental admission test (KFGAT) with a minimum 60% cumulative score
b) Any other requirement recommended by HEC or approved by the department.
