KFUEIT Hosts 50th International Seerat Conference
RAHIM YAR KHAN 03-09-2025– In observance of the birth anniversary of Holy Prophet, Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH), Khwaja Fareed University of Engineering & Information Technology (KFUEIT), Rahim Yar Khan, held its 50th International Seerat Conference today at the university's Civil Auditorium.
The conference, which featured distinguished speakers from Pakistan and abroad, was attended in person and online. Vice Chancellor Prof. Ir. Dr. Aamir Azam Khan welcomed the esteemed guests, including Mian Amir Shahbaz, emphasizing the importance of following the Prophet's teachings. "Only by following the Seerat-un-Nabi ﷺ can we transform this world into a peaceful, stable, and prosperous society," he stated. He also highlighted the university's fundamental responsibility to educate students about the Prophet's life to build a society aligned with his exemplary conduct.
The conference's theme was "State Responsibilities in Educating and Training for the Positive Use of Social Media in the Light of Seerat-un-Nabi ﷺ." Prominent scholars from Pakistan, Egypt, and Malaysia participated online, highlighting the role of social media in promoting the timeless teachings of the Prophet (PBUH). Speakers at the event included Dr. Muhammad Muslim (Khwaja Fareed College, Rahim Yar Khan), Dr. Atif Aslam Rao (University of Karachi), Prof. Dr. Muhammad Zia-ul-Haq (International Islamic University, Islamabad), Dr. Khalid Abdul Razzaq (Jamia Al Azhar, Cairo), Dr. Halim Ismail (International Islamic University Malaysia), and Khalifa Peer Qari Abdul Rehman Naqshbandi (Rahim Yar Khan), who addressed various topics related to the theme.
The conference aimed to help attendees understand how the Prophet's teachings can guide humanity in the face of social media's growing influence.
