Fine Arts and Textile Design Exhibition Showcases Student Creativity at KFUEIT
Vice Chancellor Vice Chancellor Prof. Ir. Dr. Amir Azam Khan Khwaja Fareed University of Engineering and Information Technology (KFUEIT) has inaugurated a Fine Arts and Textile Design exhibition, showcasing the final projects of graduating students. The four-day exhibition features 36 final-year projects, including six by Fine Arts students and 26 by Textile Design students.
Among the themes explored in the artwork are Phulkari embroidery, faded childhood memories, Mughal art, camel art, truck art, improvisational jugaad, and acid attacks. These themes captivated visitors and highlighted the students' talent and creativity.
Vice Chancellor Prof. Ir. Dr. Amir Azam Khan toured the displays, interacted with students, and praised their work. He commended the originality and depth of the projects, noting that they reflect students' dedication, innovation, and strong cultural connections. Prof. Dr. Amir Azam Khan emphasized that the university remains committed to supporting and refining students' skills, promoting their work across various platforms to expand their opportunities and career prospects.
Also in attendance were Associate Dean Dr. Ahmed Sohaib, Director of the Institute of Humanities and Arts Dr. Anwar Farooq, faculty members Arshad Rahmani, Muhammad Tayyab, Dr. Majid Rasheed, and a large number of students. The exhibition attracted participants from various departments, who appreciated their peers' efforts and celebrated the diverse talent at KFUEIT.
The event underscores KFUEIT’s commitment to nurturing creativity, connecting students with cultural heritage, and equipping them with the skills to succeed in the modern world.
