Empowering Youth: Seminar on Social Media's Impact at KFUEIT Rajanpur Campus

Khwaja Fareed University of Engineering and Information Technology held a seminar on "Youth and Social Media" at its Rajanpur campus. The event was graced by the presence of Vice Chancellor Prof. Ir. Dr. Amir Azam, Deputy Commissioner of Rajanpur Shafqatullah Mushtaq, Punjab Assembly Member Sardar Abdul Aziz Khan Dreshak, Mr. Naeem Masood, Khawaja Rawal Moeen, Muhammad Hussain Fareedi, Syed Mushtaq Rizvi, and Prof. Dr. Shahid Ashraf.

During the seminar, speakers highlighted the dual nature of social media, noting that while it has opened new avenues for youth development, it also presents various concerns across different sectors. They emphasized that social media has become a revolutionary force in today's era, with both positive and negative impacts. The positive use of social media can benefit humanity, while its negative usage leads to societal decay. The speakers expressed that the negative exploitation of social media is morally and socially detrimental to the younger generation, turning it into a significant challenge.

Students also expressed their thoughts during the seminar. At the conclusion, certificates were awarded to the students, along with shields presented to the distinguished guests and officials.
