According to the Times Higher Education Impact Ranking 2022, Khwaja Fareed University has secured the first position among the engineering universities of the country and the third position among all the universities in the country in the category of Affordable and Clean Energy. Similarly, in this category, it has been included in the top 101 to 200 best universities in the world. In terms of work on climate change, Khawaja Fareed University has also been ranked first among engineering universities across the country and fourth among all other universities in the Times Higher Education Impact Rankings. Similarly, Khwaja Fareed University is ranked among the 201 to 300 best universities in the world. In the ranking of hunger eradication, Khwaja Fareed University has not only got the first position among the engineering universities but it is also at the forefront among other universities of South Punjab. It ranks sixth in the country in this category and ranks among the 201 to 300 best universities in the world. Speaking in this regard, Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Muhammad Suleman Tahir said that the fruits of continuous struggle for the last two years are coming to the fore. He said that prominent positions in national and international rankings are the recognition of our work. The university is being mentioned in good words not only in Pakistan but also in international educational institutions. He said that continuous improvement in quality education, research and rankings would be useful for the children studying in the university in future also.
