Imagine Cup is an annual competition sponsored and hosted by Microsoft. which brings together student developers worldwide to help resolve some of the world's toughest challenges. It is considered as the "Olympics of Technology" by computer science and engineering and is considered one of the top competitions and awards related to technology and software design. All Imagine Cup competitors create projects that address the Imagine Cup theme: "Imagine a world where technology helps solve the toughest problems".
Imagine Cup is one of Microsoft's many efforts to transform skill development, nurture budding technologists, and foster a collaborative and innovative spirit. This global technology competition boasts of several success stories emerging from the competition.
Microsoft organized Imagine cup in three rounds. In which 200+ universities and 600+ teams participated. KFUEIT participated with 6 teams for the knockout round. All six teams successfully clear the knockout round and qualify for the regional round which held in Lahore Garrison University. By the grace of almighty Allah all teams successfully secure their positions for National Level in the top 67 teams.
Alhamdullilah. KFUEIT is one of amongst all universities whose 100% teams qualify from Regional round to the National round of Imagine Cup 2020. In National round, 10% teams were selected from KFUEIT as well.
