MoU with ‘Extreme Commerce
Khwaja Fareed University of Engineering and Information Technology (KFUEIT) inked an MoU with ‘Extreme Commerce’ which is a Lahore based company and wants to provide ‘Free’ access of its Video Boot Camp 2021 (VBC) to the University students so that they can learn and enhance their e-commerce skills. This MoU was initiated by the Department of Management Sciences and Business Incubation Center KFUEIT. Dr. Sagir Ahmad as convener BIC KFUEIT signed the MoU. The MoU signing ceremony was chaired by vice chancellor Prof. Dr. Suleman Tahir. Extreme Commerce and the KFUEIT have agreed to jointly provide students with access to VBC2021 free of charge which is an extensive online knowledge base of digital skills. It would help the students to serve the growing global e-commerce industry, ultimately leading to progress in the economy by creating employment and business opportunities as well. Extreme Commerce and the KFUEIT will organize periodic VBC orientation sessions for the students at the university campus, as and when required, with mutual consent. Preferably these sessions will be open house sessions and efforts will be made to make these sessions live to maximize student outreach. Prof. Dr. Suleman Tahir said that it is a priority to provide students with good learning opportunities and to equip them with a market-compatible skillset. E-Commerce has changed the shape of trade and business processes around the world. The students with e-commerce skills would serve the nation in a better way.
