Lecture on “Economization and Optimization of Biodiesel Production for Sustainability and Environmental protection”
the department of chemical engineering and oric has jointly organized the guest lecture by engr. dr. muhammad ayoub, senior lecturer and researcher, centre for biofuel and biochemical research, universiti teknologi petronas (utp), malaysia on 23rd april 2019 at the civil auditorium, kfueit, rahim yar khan.
engr. dr. muhammad ayoub delivered a lecture to the kfueit faculty and students on the “economization and optimization of biodiesel production for sustainability and environmental protection”. in his lecture, he provided a detailed overview of current research projects on the biodiesel production and conversion of by-product glycerol to diglycerol for enhancing the economic benefits of biodiesel production from palm oil. he also pointed out the numerous potential research collaboration opportunities between the utp, malaysia and kfueit, rahim yar khan. engr. dr. muhammad ayoub motivated and urged students to avail the 3 – 6 months of research opportunities available at the various labs of utp, malaysia. at the end of the lecture, students participated actively in the extensive question and answer session.
engr. dr. javed iqbal, associate professor and head, department of chemical engineering thanked engr. dr. muhammad ayoub for this informative lecture and praised his efforts for promoting biofuels production in pakistan. a letter of intent was also signed between the department of chemical engineering, kfueit rahim yar khan represented by engr. dr. javed iqbal and universiti teknologi petronas (utp), malaysia represented by engr. dr. muhammad ayoub for joint future research collaborations and exchange programs for faculty and students.
