KFUEIT Shines at Lahore Science Mela 2025!
We are delighted to share that the students of Khwaja Fareed University of Engineering & Information Technology (KFUEIT) proudly represented the university at the Lahore Science Mela (LSM) 2025 — Pakistan’s largest and South Asia’s most vibrant citizen science festival. This mega event, organized by the Khwarizmi Science Society (KSS), attracts 100,000+ visitors and brings together schools, colleges, and universities from across the country to showcase innovation, creativity, and scientific spirit. Lahore Science Mela is a flagship initiative of Khwarizmi Science Society (KSS) — Pakistan’s oldest and most influential grassroots science awareness movement since 1996.
KFUEIT students actively presented two remarkable and impactful projects:
1. Solar-Rechargeable Electric Bike
A sustainable, eco-friendly mobility solution designed to reduce carbon emissions and promote green transportation. The innovation and practicality of this prototype captivated participants of all ages.
2. IoT-Based mergency Ventilator & Patient Health Monitoring System
A life-saving, low-cost medical technology aimed at supporting emergency healthcare. With real-time patient monitoring and automated ventilation support, this project reflects our students’ commitment to solving real-world challenges.
These exhibits received exceptional appreciation from visitors, scientists, industry representatives, and fellow exhibitors. I am immensely proud of the dedication, creativity, and hard work of our students and faculty teams for bringing such meaningful innovations to the national stage.
We extend our sincere gratitude to Khwarizmi Science Society (KSS) and Dr. Muhammad Sabieh Anwar, General Secretary KSS, for extending a warm invitation to KFUEIT and appreciating the innovative projects of our students. A special thanks to Ms. Hijab Zahra, Science Communicator at KSS, for coordinating and facilitating this opportunity.
Events like the Lahore Science Mela play a vital role in fostering a scientific culture in Pakistan, and KFUEIT remains committed to contributing meaningfully to such national initiatives.
Proud moment for KFUEIT. Proud moment for Rahim Yar Khan. Proud moment for Pakistan.
Together, let’s continue empowering our youth to innovate, create, and inspire!
