Dr. Sidra Ghazanfar, an accomplished resource person from the IBA KFUEIT, led the session on brand development. She meticulously presented the importance and step-by-step process of creating a brand, strongly emphasizing that "without owning a brand, the investment shall remain undermined." Dr. Muhammad Abdullah focused on the critical aspect of pricing strategies. He guided students on how to determine competitive pricing without compromising product quality, essential for fostering a culture of long-term brand loyalty among customers. Two successful KFUEIT alumni shared their entrepreneurial journeys, inspiring the graduating cohort: Ms. Fatima Naseem, an alumnus, unfolded her inspiring story of creating the brand "FN Studio." She excitedly informed the students about her achievements, including organizing successful exhibitions of her calligraphic work in major metropolitan cities like Lahore, Karachi, and others. Mr. Ahsan Fareed Ud Din, an alumnus of IBA KFUEIT, detailed his experience in establishing the brand "Herbeela." His session offered crucial advice on navigating the challenges of social marketing, particularly demonstrating how to identify and avoid fake orders in the digital marketplace. Dr. Tariq Mehmood, Additional Director ORIC, summed up the workshop with a crucial piece of advice for the aspiring entrepreneurs. He stated that "to launch a brand is just a first step but to make it sustainable is a challenging task which is not possible without continuous improvement/learning, grit and effective digital marketing." He concluded by assuring all participants that ORIC is committed to arranging such impactful workshops on regular intervals to vigorously cultivate a culture of entrepreneurship among KFUEIT students.
