KFUEIT Kicks Off National Outreach Program for Faculty Training

The National Outreach Program for Faculty, organized by the National Academy of Higher Education (NAHE) under the Higher Education Commission (HEC), Pakistan, in collaboration with KFUEIT, commenced today at the Admin Meeting Hall.

The inaugural session was graced by the esteemed Vice Chancellor, Prof. Ir. Dr. Amir Azam Khan, who emphasized the pivotal role of such training programs in enhancing the teaching standards of higher education institutions and fostering professional growth among faculty members.

On the first day, Dr. Aslam Adeeb, Pro Rector of NCBA Lahore, Sub-Campus Bahawalpur, served as the trainer. His engaging sessions covered critical topics, including:

  • Passion for the Teaching Profession (2 sessions)
  • Essential Competencies of the Teaching Profession
  • Teacher as an Intellectual of Society

The session was attended by prominent faculty members, including Pro Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Shahzad Murtaza, Dr. Badarul Islam, and Dr. Bilal Tahir, alongside other participants, highlighting the university’s commitment to academic excellence.

The program, running until February 14, 2025, aims to equip educators with advanced skills and knowledge, contributing to the overall improvement of higher education in Pakistan.
