Day 1:
Institutional Performance Evaluation (IPE 2022-2023) Self Visit, Khwaja Fareed University of Engineering and Information Technology Rahim Yar Khan Pakistan
Directorate of Quality Enhancement Cell organized a successful IPE Self Visit of KFUEIT RYK Pakistan on 21 March 2023. Director QEC, Government College University Faisalabad Prof. Dr. Asim Mansha joined as an external member of IPE, whereas Dr. Muhammad Bilal Tahir, Director, QEC, Prof. Dr. Shahzad Murtaza, Director Academics and Pro-Vice Chancellor, Dr. Muhammad Sagir, Dr. Shahid Atiq, and Dr. Umar Farooq joined as an internal member of IPE Self Visit. The first session of day-1 started with the introduction of the university by Worthy Vice Chancellor Prof Dr. Muhammad Suleman Tahir. He highlighted key features of university governance and major initiatives of the university for research and development. He highlighted the quality measures and practices accomplished by the university. The external member reviewed Institutional Performance Evaluation (IPE) on the basis of eleven IPE Standards: Mission and Goals, Planning and Evaluation, Organization and Governance, Integrity, Faculty, Student, Institutional Resources, Academic Programs and Curricula, Public Disclosure & Transparency, Assessment and Quality Assurance and Students Support Services. This session aimed to review the understanding and implementation of basic principles of Institutional Performance and IPE related standards.
The second session was based on discussion with Heads of all departments. The external member inquired about facilities in labs, reservations related to courses, teaching and research facilities. The Heads gave feedback on multiple contents related to their academic life.
The third session was based on discussion with the IPE members of all teaching departments. The panel discussed various aspects of course files and question papers. The Director QEC Dr. Muhammad Bilal Tahir thanked the IPE team, especially the External member for their insightful review throughout the day. Now, the panel is going to visit the campus and review the infrastructure.
Day 02
On the second day of self Institutional Performance Evaluation (IPE) visit external reviewer Prof. Dr. Muhammad Asim Mansha along with Dr. Muhammad Bilal Tahir Director QEC KFUEIT, Dr. Umer Farooq Addl. The Director QEC and team members of QEC visited all the departments and labs. He admired the efforts of the faculty, administration, and staff of the university by saying that all the things are well managed and Khwaja Fareed University is growing rapidly day by day under the worthy leadership of Prof. Dr. Suleman Tahir, Vice Chancellor, KFUEIT.
Afterward, the evaluators had a brief meeting with the undergraduate and graduate students in the civil auditorium. All the students gave positive remarks by saying that they are satisfied with the standard of education and services provided to us.
The evaluators conducted meetings with faculty members, Exam, Accounts, HR, Career Services, and Sports offices, Library, Auditorium, Hostel, and Playgrounds. The evaluator appreciated the efforts of the Director QEC and all the team members for excellent arrangements.
Day 3
The third day of the self Institutional Performance Evaluation visit was based on a discussion with the faculty members of all teaching departments. Various topics like course files, academic calendars, Exams, and question papers were discussed in the meeting.
Afterward, the External Expert had an exit meeting with Worthy Vice Chancellor and appreciated the efforts of QEC in organizing a self-IPE visit in a well-mannered way.
