In a remarkable gesture to enhance student welfare and improve access to education, JDW Group of Industries has generously donated a student bus to Khwaja Fareed University of Engineering and Information Technology (KFUEIT), Rahim Yar Khan.
The official handing-over ceremony was held at JDW Sugar Mills and was graced by the Worthy Vice Chancellor of KFUEIT, Prof. Ir. Dr. Amir Azam Khan. JDW officials extended a warm welcome to the university delegation, highlighting the importance of industry-academia collaboration in promoting regional development.
Key representatives from JDW Group included Dr. Hassan Iqbal, Executive Director Officer JDW Group Unit One; Javed Khan, Technical Director; Safdar Khan Kanju, General Manager Admin; and Abdul Khaliq Khan Kanju, Assistant General Manager, among others.
Accompanying the Vice Chancellor were Pro Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Shahzad Murtaza, Registrar Dr. Javed Iqbal, Dean of all Faculties Dr. Muhammad Sagir, and Director Transport Dr. M. Aslam Khan.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Hassan Iqbal stated, “This donation reflects Jahangir Khan Tareen's strong commitment to education and community development. We are proud to support KFUEIT in its mission to provide better facilities for its students.”
Vice Chancellor Prof. Ir. Dr. Amir Azam Khan expressed his sincere gratitude, saying, “We deeply appreciate the generous support of JDW Group. This student bus will be a great convenience for our students, especially those traveling from remote areas. We look forward to continued collaboration.”
