Free Medical Camp Organized at KFUEIT in Collaboration with National Hospital

Khwaja Fareed University of Engineering and Information Technology (KFUEIT), Rahim Yar Khan, through its Institute of Health Sciences, successfully organized a Free Medical Camp in collaboration with National Cardiac Complex and National Diagnostic Complex at the Community Centre, KFUEIT.

The camp featured more than 20 specialist doctors from diverse medical disciplines, including cardiology, neurology, dermatology, gynaecology, orthopaedics, paediatrics, and psychology. A large number of students, faculty members, staff, and their families benefited from the initiative, receiving free medical consultations and medicines, along with diagnostic tests.

The camp was formally inaugurated by Engr. Dr. Javed Iqbal, Registrar KFUEIT. Speaking on the occasion, he appreciated the efforts of the Institute of Health Sciences and collaborating healthcare partners for organizing a meaningful and impactful initiative. He emphasized the importance of such activities in promoting preventive healthcare, early diagnosis, and awareness among students and the wider community.

He further highlighted that this initiative aligns with the vision of the Worthy Vice Chancellor to promote community engagement, ensure student well-being, and strengthen the university’s role as a socially responsible institution contributing to public health and welfare.

The successful organization of the free medical camp was made possible through the coordinated efforts of Rao Waqas, HoD Institute of Health Sciences, and Dr. Saba, whose contributions helped ensure the smooth conduct of the event.

Dr. Zahoor Ahmad, Dr. Shayan, Dr, Umar, Dr, Saif ur Rehman, Dr. Tariq Mehmood, Ms Maria Yaseen, Dr. Tooba Asif, Ms Kiran Shakeel Mr. Anees, and others were also present at the moment.

This initiative reflects the university’s continued dedication to community service, student welfare, and strengthening partnerships with reputable healthcare institutions to ensure accessible and quality healthcare services.
