First Call 7th ICSMAND February 25 – 27, 2019

this gives me an opportunity to announce “first call for 7th icsmand” to be held on 25-27 february 2019. the theme of this year meeting will be “oxide semiconductors”.
it is pertinent to mention here that the theme was suggested by prof. b. g. svensson, who incidentally died in august 2018. we all condole with his family and faculty of the university of oslo at norway and pay sincere tributes to his excellent services to science.
venue:
auditorium at civil building: khwaja fareed university of engineering and information technology (kfueit), rahim yar khan, pakistan.
about kfueit:
kfueit is a public sector university established in 2014 by the government of punjab.
it has four faculties:

the university is offering undergrad and graduate courses in all faculties. the enrollment is around 4,000 altogether.
location:
rahim yar khan is one of an old cities of province punjab. it is an industrial city situated at the bank of one of the largest rivers of the world named indus river. three big canals run through the city. the university is named in the recognition of the famous saint and sufi poet, khwaja ghulam fareed (1845-1901). the city is connected by regular flights from karachi, lahore, islamabad and abu dhabi.
weather:
weather in the month of february is moderate and temperature in the day is around 20c-25c and in the night is 15c-20c.
shopping:
the city is crowded by medium scale plazas housing local and international brands
travel:
all the foreign speakers can route to rahim yar khan international airport through karachi/lahore/islamabad. the local participants can travel by train/buses/coaches. we will provide lowest economy fare to the invited foreign/national speakers.
accommodation:
kfueit will offer complimentary accommodation to all invited speakers in desert palm hotel in the city. for the rest of the speakers/participants, kfueit will arrange their accommodation on subsidized rates.
excursion:
an excursion trips of kot mitthan and bhong mosque/guddo barrage

registration:
- for regular participant: rs. 2,500
- for students: rs. 1,000
internet:
free high speed wi-fi will be available for all registered participants at the venue/hotels.
registration includes conference materials, refreshment, lunches, and dinners, pick n drop to the conference venue/accommodation venue, internet and excursion.
i request all the honorable colleagues to send their abstracts as per the schedule. this will help us to submit conference grant proposal to the hec-pakistan to cover various expenditures of the event.
