Enhancing Food Safety Skills at KFUEIT

The Institute of Food Science and Technology (IFST) in collaboration with Punjab Food Authority proudly host the Food Safety Level 2 Training for our students and university staff! This essential training aims to equip participants with the knowledge and skills needed to ensure the highest standards of food safety, hygiene, and handling practices. Delivered by experienced professionals Mr. Shakeel Qayyum, Master Trainer, and team of Punjab Food Authority (PFA), Rahim Yar Khan. The session covered critical topics such as personal hygiene, foodborne illnesses, contamination prevention, and safe storage techniques.

More than 200 students and food handlers participated during this learning session and fostering a safer food environment and empowering our community with industry-relevant expertise. Together, we can contribute to build a healthier and safer future.
