EE faculty member publishes paper in IEEE Transactions on Sustainable Energy
micro-inverter is a plug and play device that converters dc from the pv panel into ac voltage at desired voltage and frequency. dr. hadeed ahmed sher, assistant professor at the department of electrical engineering, kfueit has recently published his work in ieee transactions on sustainable energy on the topic of high tracking efficiency single stage pv micro-inverter. the proposed system can be used for standalone applications and optimizes the power output by a novel maximum power point tracking algorithm. the proposed method shows a clear improvement in the system performance when compared with conventional systems. the full paper can be accessed from the link mentioned below.
