During the workshop, the delegation had the privilege of meeting Sardar Ramesh Singh Arora, Minister for Human Rights and Minority Affairs, Punjab, the worthy Vice Chancellor of KFUEIT, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Kamran, and other distinguished dignitaries from the department and universities across Punjab.
The workshop provided a valuable opportunity to learn, exchange ideas, build professional connections, and explore practical approaches to promoting religious harmony, mutual respect, tolerance, and peaceful coexistence among diverse communities. As part of the experiential learning activities, participants also visited religious places, including churches and Gurdwara Sahib, to develop a deeper understanding of different religious traditions, beliefs, and practices.
The initiative is part of the Huqooq-e-Pakistan Programme, Phase II, supported by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the European Union (EU) and implemented in collaboration with the Punjab Human Rights and Minority Affairs Department.
