5th meeting of the syndicate of Khawaja Fareed University of Engineering and Information Technology was conducted in Lahore on 16th of July 2020. Meeting was chaired by Raja Yasir Humayun Sarfraz Minister for Higher Education Punjab / Pro-Chancellor. First time, ever in the history of the university, annual budget was approved by the syndicate. All members including Prof. Dr. Suleman Tahir (Vice Chancellor KFUEIT), Ch. Masood Ahmad (MPA PP-257), Mian Shafi Muhammad (MPA PP-258), Ms. Shahida Ahmed (MPA W-305), Prof. Dr. Niaz Ahmad Akhtar (Vice Chancellor, University of the Punjab, Lahore, Rep. of Secretary to the Government, Higher Education Department), Mr. Tauseef Dilshad Khatana (Additional Secretary Finance, Rep. of Secretary to the Government, Finance Department Punjab), Prof. Dr. Tanveer Hussain (Rector, National Textile University, Faisalabad, Rep. of Chairperson, Higher Education Commission, Islamabad), Engr. Malik Saleem Ullah Saeed (Rep. of Chairperson, Pakistan Engineering Council), Mr. Kashif Farooq (Director IT, PITB, Rep. of Chairman PITB Govt. of the Punjab), Engr. Prof. Dr. Amir Ijaz (Vice Chancellor, MNS UET, Multan) and Prof. Dr. Muhammad Asghar Hashmi (Dean/Registrar KFUEIT) were present in the meeting.
