Batch 2021 Embarks on Their Annual Survey Camp Adventure
Batch 2021 is all set for an exciting and educational journey as they depart today, January 16, 2025, for the annual Survey Camp at the scenic Abbottabad hill station. Under the expert guidance of Dr. Naveed Anjum, Head of the Civil Engineering Department, and Engr. Junaid Ahmed Siddiqy, the dedicated Survey Camp In-Charge, this experience promises to be a perfect blend of practical learning, teamwork, and exploration. Day 1 at Survey Camp Abbottabad: Civil Engineering Batch F21 gained hands-on field experience with indirect ranging in mountainous areas, traversing hilly terrain, and using compass surveying techniques under the expert supervision of Engr. Junaid Ahmed Siddiqy, Mr. Rao Tauqeer Ali, and Mr. Bilawal Hussain. A productive start to their practical learning! Day 2 at Survey Camp Abbottabad: Exploring the art of precision in hilly terrain! Batch F21 mastered Plane Table Surveying techniques, including the Radiation Method, Intersection Method, and Traversing Method. These invaluable skills allowed them to capture detailed topographic features in the challenging mountainous landscapes. A perfect blend of practical learning and breathtaking views made the day truly unforgettable.
