2nd Board of Studies Meeting of Department of Management Sciences, KFUEIT, Rahim Yar Khan
the 2nd board of studies meeting of department of management sciences was held on 3rd august 2018 at the vice chancellor secretariat conference room to ratify the executive mba curriculum set according to the outcome-based education (obe) policy adopted and implemented at khwaja fareed university of engineering & information technology, rahim yar khan. after the recitation of few verses from the holy quran, dr. muhammad abdullah (assistant professor, department of management sciences) presented the agenda items before the participants of meeting and dr. muhammad nazim (head of department of management sciences) presented a brief introduction of degree programs being offered at the department of management sciences, kfueit.
dr. muhammad abrar (associate professor, director, lyallpur school of business, government college university, faisalabad), dr. raza ali rafique (assistant professor, suleman dawood school of business, lums, lahore) and dr. asif mahmood (assistant professor, institute of business & management, uet, lahore) participated in the meeting as subject experts. the board members extensively discussed the executive mba curriculum. they also suggested some valuable modification in the curriculum. after taking into consideration the inputs received from all the members and after in-depth deliberations in the matter, modifications were made in the curriculum keeping in mind the existing requirements of the industry. new courses were also introduced to cater to the changing needs of the industry. the executive mba curriculum was approved and recommended unanimously by the board to be presented to the board of faculty for approval. deputy director qec, dr. muhammad aslam khan and all the faculty members of the department of management sciences participated in the meeting.
