Special Projects are the projects with highest priorities towards overall (physical and intellectual) development of the University. These projects possess great value addition and are associated with planning and development for the future project(s) and reform(s) in the existing projects. It mainly includes the preparation of PC-1 document. So far, two PC-1 plans have been prepared i.e. ‘PC-1 Phase-2 for the Establishment of Khwaja Fareed University of Engineering and Information Technology (KFUEIT)’ and ‘PC-1 for the Faculty Development Program (FDP) in KFUEIT’. Currently, ‘Long-Term Sustainability Projects for KFUEIT’ and under progress. The final plan of special projects will be executed by the Project Office with the support of relevant departments in KFUEIT. Mir Tayyeb is among 35 young graduates who were selected in the Young Development Fellowship (YDF) program in 2016 out of 17,000 candidates. He was engaged in planning, development and public policy making, under the Ministry of Planning, Development and Reform, Islamabad. He has a proven record of working on ten various projects on planning and policy making in the Ministry of Planning. He also got a privilege to attended six training courses on ‘Project Management and Project Preparation in Public Organization’s from the Pakistan Planning Management Institute (PPMI), Islamabad. Apart from this, he holds a Post-Graduate (MS) degree in Supply Chain Management from the Coventry University, England.
