Since the University is in its massive expansion phase, so the importance of Project Department is phenomenal. The Project Department is responsible for the space programming, planning, design, preparation of construction and contract documents and construction administration for the major maintenance, alterations and new construction for all University facilities and building systems

Project Department consists of two sub-teams, the Engineering Team and the Finishing Team. The Engineering Team focuses on the engineering design and supervision of structural elements of the building construction including physical layout of the buildings as per the master plan, excavation and back-filling, soil treatment, foundation, building structure, roof water-proofing, integration with utility services (including electricity, water and gas), external development, boundary wall, roads, etc. The Finishing Team focuses on supervising the finishing works of the building, once its structural elements are completed. The finishing elements include exterior finish, flooring, false ceiling, fixtures and fittings, paint, lighting, cooling, telephone and data communication cabling, fire alarm system, doors and windows, etc.
