These standards are continuously reviewed, enhanced and safeguarded through implementation of HEC (QA) Polices and criteria for Plagiarism Policy and the fulfilment of the minimum admission criteria of the offered degree programs. Program specifications development with knowledge, understanding, skill and lifelong learning through revision of existing curriculums under statuary bodies.

- SAR Submission to QEC by PT
- SAR review by QEC
- Final submission of SAR to QEC through Head of Department
Step-02 is about submission of Assessment Team (AT) findings, Executive Summary and Implementation Plans prepared by the ATs, QEC and Head of the concerned Department.
- ATs selection and notification by Worthy Vice Chancellor
- ATs training by QEC
- ATs visit to the concerned Department

- Ph.D. / MS / M.Phil & Equivalent Programs Review
Quality Assurance Agency (QAA) of Higher Education Commission, Pakistan requires the review of the MS and PhD programs to assure the quality of education in the degree awarding institutes. The QAA of HEC is facilitating HEIs across the country to improve state of higher education provision through external as well as internal quality assurance mechanisms. M.Phil./MS/equivalent & PhD Review Program is one of the key such initiatives.
- Institutional Performance Evaluation
The Higher Education Commission expects that Higher Education Institutions will work to achieve success through continuous improvement in their quality and performance. In this regard the HEC has taken the important step of institutional-based performance recognition and initiated the first step in defining the HEI Performance Assessment Standards that should be used for this purpose.
Institutional Performance Evaluation (IPE) is being evaluated by the HEC and this process is informed of the IQA results performed by HEIs by adopting the University Quality Standards and Assessment Model. The result of the University Quality Standards and Assessment Moderation is thus in line with the process of the Performance Assessment Standards.
The Standards are described as:
Standard Number Description Standard 1 Mission Statement & Goals Standard 2 Planning & Evaluation Standard 3 Organization & Governance Standard 4 Integrity Standard 5 Faculty Standard 6 Students Standard 7 Institutional Resources Standard 8 Academic Programs & Curricula Standard 9 Public Disclosure & Transparency Standard 10 Assessment & Quality Assurance Standard 11 Student Support Services
