Biography

  • Dr. Rifat Jawaria is currently working as Assistant Professor at Chemistry Department & acting HoD at Department of Food Science & Technology, Faculty of Engineering, KFUEIT-RYK. She was born on 01-11-1982, in Sahiwal. She has received her initial schooling from Govt. Girls Higher Secondary School, Fareed Town, Sahiwal. After matriculation she got admission in Govt college for woman, Sahiwal & passed inter (F.Sc), Bachelor (B.Sc) Furthermore she had continued her studies & passed her Master  degree (M.Sc) from Govt. Degree college, Sahiwal.
  • Continuing the above she got the admission in M Phil program in Bahaudin Zikrya University. She received HEC Indigenous scholarship during doctoral studies.
  • She has completed PhD under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Mazhar Hussain. During PhD. She was introduced to new vistas of knowledge and recent advancements in field of Chemistry. She learnt different ways of tackling a complex situation.  Her problem solving skills improved a lot and this personality development actually enhanced her self-confidence. Higher studies is not all about memorizing books or understanding existing knowledge. It extends beyond that, i.e you struggle to bring innovation in your thinking pattern. Her favorite hobbies are book readings, watching movies, tourism & playing badminton.

  • Research Fellowship awarded by Higher Education Commission Pakistan under “HEC Indigenous PhD 5000 fellowship for PhD (2008-2012).
