Dr. Ghulam Hasain Tariq
Assistant Professor
Ph. D (COMSATS Institute of Information Technology, Islamabad)
- I was born on 1st September 1969 in village Danda Shah Bilawal Tehsil Talagang and District Attock (now Chakwal since 1985). I received my secondary education from Govt. high school Lawa District Attock (now Chakwal). I did my intermediate and bachelor from Government College of Science Wahdat Road Lahore. I did my MSc (Physics) from Govt College Chakwal. I started my carrier in education department since 13th Feb 1997.
- I was awarded scholarship under ‘INDIGENOUS 5000 fellowship program’ of Higher Education Commission, Pakistan in 2006 to pursue MS leading to PhD studies in Department of Physics COMSATS Institute of information Technology Islamabad. In 2008, after completing MS, I was enrolled in PhD program under the kind guidance and supervision of associate professor Dr. Muhammad Anis-ur-Rehman, whose kind supervision made PhD degree possible for me. I also availed six month research fellowship through International Research Support Initiative Program of HEC and visited Cranfield University UK from May - Oct 2012. I worked there under supervision of Dr. David Lane at Rutherford Laboratory, Department of Materials and Applied Science, Cranfield University, Defence Academy of the United Kingdom at Shrivenham, Swindon, Oxfordshire. In 10th November 2014, with grace of Allah almighty I defended my thesis “Synthesis and Characterization of Thin Film Materials for Photovoltaic Applications” successfully.
