  • Engr. Yasir Yasin has done his B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering (with Honors) from the University of Engineering & Technology (UET) Lahore. After completing his Degree, he started working as a Management Trainee in Engineering (Projects) in one of the top companies of Pakistan, i.e., Fauji Fertilizer Company (FFC), Mirpur Mathelo Plant Site. The major projects handled during this tenure included the Recovery of Hydrolyser Vapours in a Medium Pressure Decomposer, Nitrogen Blanketing of the Benfield Storage Tank, Fitness for Service (FFS) Analysis of the Carbonate Solution Vessel based on API-579, and the Experience of a Civil Engineering Project at the New Engineering Department Building. The best of the previously mentioned experiences was the Plant Turn Around Experience. Then he joined Descon Engineering Limited (Lahore Manufacturing Workshop) as Assistant Engineer-PMT.
  • Engr. Yasir Yasin joined as a Lecturer in the Mechanical Engineering Department, Khwaja Fareed University of Engineering & Information Technology, Rahim Yar Khan, Pakistan, in July 2015. At that time, the University was newborn, and it provided a lot of challenges to perform under acute pressures, whether these were related to the development of KFUEIT or Operational Challenges. He has taken these challenges as opportunities to excel in the management of multiple disciplines/tasks. He is an active member of the department as well as the university.
  • He belongs to Gojra District, Toba Tek Singh. He acquired his earlier education from his hometown and went to UET Lahore in pursuance to his degree in Mechanical Engineering. As far as hobbies are concerned, he loves to travel to explore the nature-enriched beauty sites, to play football and cricket.
