Visiting Lecturer
Laveeza Tahir is a Visiting Lecturer in the field of Information Technology and Data Science. She has completed her MS in Information Technology after earning her BS in Information Technology. Her academic and professional interests include Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Machine Learning, and emerging AI technologies.
Her research interests focus on Artificial Intelligence, IoT Security, Digital Forensics, Explainable AI, and intelligent data-driven systems. She has contributed to research involving Machine Learning and Explainable AI for behavioral analysis and forensic identification of IoT devices. She is also interested in emerging technologies such as Large Language Models (LLMs) and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
Outside academics and research, she enjoys exploring emerging technologies, learning new AI and Data Science tools, reading, and engaging in creative and intellectually stimulating activities. She is passionate about continuous learning, research, and sharing knowledge with students and the academic community.
