- Roqia Aamir is an Optometrist, academic, and clinician with professional experience in both clinical optometry and higher education. She earned her Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree with distinction as a Silver Medalist from The University of Faisalabad and subsequently completed her MPhil in Optometry from the same institution.
- She served as a Visiting Lecturer at Superior University, Rahim Yar Khan Campus, where she contributed to undergraduate teaching, student mentoring, and academic activities in the field of Optometry. Alongside her academic experience, she gained valuable clinical expertise at Dr. Tariq Hussain Eye Hospital, Sajjad Eye Center, and Jannat Aziz Eye Hospital. Her clinical training also included three years of hands-on practice at Madinah Teaching Hospital, Faisalabad, where she developed skills in comprehensive eye examinations, refraction, slit-lamp biomicroscopy, tonometry, OCT, B-scan ultrasonography, corneal topography, orthoptic management, YAG capsulotomy assistance, and community eye screening.
- Her research interests include visual rehabilitation, nystagmus therapy, computer vision syndrome, viral conjunctivitis, and evidence-based clinical optometry. She has conducted research on innovative therapeutic approaches and public eye health. Outside her professional responsibilities, she enjoys calligraphy, photography, content writing, and studying the Tafseer of the Holy Qur'an, which reflect her commitment to lifelong learning, creativity, and personal development.
