Faculty Profile

Usman Shafeeq
Lecturer
MS (Artificial Intelligence)

I am currently serving as a Lecturer in Artificial Intelligence (BPS-18) at KFUEIT, Rahim Yar Khan, with over 6 years of diversified professional experience in Artificial Intelligence, Python programming, and Network Security. My work bridges academia and industry, combining teaching, research, and practical implementation of secure network systems and AI-based solutions.

I began my professional career as a Hardware / LAN / WAN Technician (BS-14) at The Islamia University of Bahawalpur (August 2020 – October 2021), where I gained hands-on experience in campus-wide network setups, hardware maintenance, and troubleshooting. Later, I was promoted to Assistant Network Administrator (BS-16) (October 2021 – June 2025), managing network infrastructure, virtualization platforms, firewall systems, VLAN configurations, routing & switching, and secure network services for the university.

Additionally, I served as a Network Administrator (PPS-09) in the Special Branch of Punjab Police under the CA4I Project (Center for Advanced Analytics, Automation, and AI) for six months. In this role, I contributed to secure network design, system administration, virtualization, firewall implementation, and cybersecurity protocols, ensuring reliable and safe operations for sensitive law enforcement systems.

Academically, I have also been a Visiting Lecturer at The Islamia University of Bahawalpur, delivering courses in Artificial Intelligence, Python programming, and Network Security, while supervising student projects. At KFUEIT, I currently teach undergraduate courses in AI, Machine Learning, Data Science, Python Programming, and Network Security, with a focus on hands-on labs, research-oriented projects, and industry-relevant skills development.

As the Batch Advisor of BSAI Students, I guide students in academic planning, research projects, internship opportunities, and career development, fostering holistic student growth and professional readiness.
