Ms. Amna Khan is a nutrition professional currently serving as a Lecturer at the Institute of Food Science and Technology at Khwaja Fareed University of Engineering and Information Technology, Rahim Yar Khan.

She completed her MS.c (Hons.) in Human Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of Agriculture, Faisalabad, where her postgraduate research focused on evaluating the association between maternal diet and childhood stunting in an urban population of Faisalabad, Pakistan. Her academic foundation is rooted in a comprehensive understanding of nutritional sciences, with specialized coursework in Maternal and Child Nutrition, Nutrigenomics, Public Health Nutrition, Epidemiology, and Biochemistry.

Committed to continuous professional development, Ms. Khan has enhanced her expertise through certifications from esteemed institutions including the Abbott Nutrition and Health Institute (USA), Aga Khan University (Karachi), and Haymarket Medical Education (USA). These trainings have deepened her knowledge in pediatric nutrition, malnutrition risk assessment, and contemporary issues shaping the field of nutrition today.

Her practical experience includes clinical internships and traineeships at several healthcare institutions, such as Ali Ahmed Khan Hospital, New Care Rehabilitation Center, and Children’s Complex Hospital. Through these roles, she has gained valuable hands-on experience in pediatric nutrition, preventive healthcare, and patient counseling, strengthening her ability to bridge theoretical knowledge with real-world application.

Ms. Khan has actively participated in a wide range of national and international conferences, workshops, seminars, and training programs, reflecting her enduring commitment to academic excellence and professional growth.
