Dr. Siddiqa holds a Ph.D. in Food Technology, with doctoral research experience from the world top-ranked University of Melbourne, Australia. She was honored with a Gold Medal and has received various academic and research awards throughout her academic journey. Over 5 years of experience in academia and industry as a lecturer, project trainee officer, and research fellow. Dr. Siddiqa possesses extensive research, industry and teaching expertise in the field of Food Science and Nutrition. Her core areas of specialization include Food Chemistry, Food Analytical Techniques, Sensory Science, Functional and Nutraceutical Foods, Advanced Research Methods in Food Technology, Food Safety and Quality Management Systems, Halal Food Supply Chain Management, and Dairy Technology.

Her research focuses on functional foods, medicinal plants, waste valorization of flowers, fruits and vegetables, and the characterization of food bioactive compounds.
