Dr. Mumtaz A. Qaisrani is a tenured Assistant Professor of Energy Engineering with a strong focus on renewable energy systems and thermal sciences. His research addresses practical challenges in sustainable energy, with work covering solar and wind energy systems, thermal energy storage, and heat and fluid flow analysis, alongside growing interests in data-driven and AI-supported energy solutions.

Dr. Qaisrani teaches courses in thermofluid sciences and works closely with students on applied research projects, particularly those related to the use of concentrated solar thermal technologies in industry and agrifood applications. His approach emphasizes connecting theory with real-world needs, combining performance analysis, cost considerations, and system optimization. Alongside his teaching and research, he actively contributes to the academic community through publishing, peer review, and editorial service, supporting the development of reliable and efficient energy technologies for practical deployment.
