Engr. Muhammad Suleman

Engr. Muhammad Suleman did his MS in Chemical Engineering from the NFC Institute of Engineering and Technology, Multan, Pakistan. The title of his master's thesis was Development of Castor Leaves-based Biochar for Adsorption of Dyes from Textile Wastewater: A Sustainable Bio-resource. He did his B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from the Institute of Chemical Engineering & Technology (ICET), University of the Punjab Lahore, Pakistan. A Plant Design  Project on Waste Water Treatment of Sugar Industry. At the PU, he was actively involved in social work and volunteered extensively for various causes. He secured overall 1 st position in the entire province of Punjab in the Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE) Chemical Technology exam conducted by the Punjab Board of Technical Education (PBTE) Lahore. He received a Gold Medal for this marvellous achievement. Apart from an active academic and social life, he also plays many different sports. In the evenings he can easily be spotted on the badminton courts of Sports Gymnasium Rahim Yar Khan.

He has gained valuable industrial experience at a leading company, Fauji Fertilizer Bin Qasim Limited (FFBL), in Karachi, strengthening his expertise in chemical processes and operations. He joined the Department of Chemical Engineering at the Khwaja Fareed University of Engineering and Information Technology (KFUEIT) in Rahim Yar Khan, Pakistan, in May 2018 as a Lab Engineer and now working as a Lecturer Chemical Engineering. He has helped in establishing various labs at the Department of Chemical Engineering. Since the Fall 2018 semester, he has been actively involved in teaching, sports coordinator, and research at the Institute of Chemical and Environmental Engineering at KFUEIT, Rahim Yar Khan. He also serves as the advisor of the CHEENS Society, fostering student engagement and professional development through various initiatives. 

He has played a pivotal role as Deputy Director of the Career Counselling Office, empowering students through career guidance and organising key events like KFUEIT’s First Job Expo and the First Chemical Engineers Convention, strengthening academia-industry ties. He has also led Campus recruitment drives (Internships, Jobs), Industrial visits, and facilitated student placements in renowned organisations, contributing to their professional success. In addition, he served as Assistant Director of Product Development, where he prepared various products.
