Biography

Dr. Shahzaib Ashraf working as an Assistant Professor at Khwaja Fareed University of Engineering and Information Technology,Rahim Yar Khan, Punjab, Pakistan.

He received BS degree in Mathematics from University of Sargodha, Sargodha, Pakistan, MS degree in (Fuzzy) Mathematics form International Islamic University, Islamabad, Pakistan and PhD degree from Abdul Wali Khan University, Mardan, Pakistan.

He served the Bacha Khan University, Charsadda, Pakistan as an Assistant Professor. He has also served the Abdul Wali Khan University, Mardan Pakistan as a visiting lecturer.

 

Dr. Ashraf’s research interests include Fuzzy set theory, Spherical fuzzy sets, Fuzzy aggregation operators, Fuzzy decision support systems, Fuzzy algorithms, Engineering applications of fuzzy systems, Probabilistic fuzzy decision support systems, Application of soft set in decision making, Soft computing and Computational intelligence.

He has published 90 Research articles in international peer-reviewed journals, including ISI Indexed / IF Journal publications. Some papers have been published in high impact journals including International Journal of Intelligent Systems, International Journal of Fuzzy Systems, Journal of Ambient Intelligence and Humanized Computing, Journal of Intelligent and Fuzzy Systems, Entropy, Mathematics.

Awards and Honors

1) Recognized as World’s Top 2% Scientists’ list (STANFORD UNIVERSITY) 2020-2021.

2) Recognized as TOP CITED PAPER 2020-2021 in International Journal of Intelligent Systems (Paper Title: Emergency decision support modeling for COVID-19 based on

spherical fuzzy information)

3) Awarded for travel grant of 2,28,362 Rs, in 2018 by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan to present a research paper in 5th International Conference on Recent Advances in Pure and Applied Mathematics, to be held at Karadeniz Technical University, Trabzon, Turkey.

4) Received shield for best performed in CRSOM-1 2014.
