Biography

Dr. Umair Azhar received his PhD degree from University of Jinan, China. He has more than 30 international publications with Impact Factor of >142. He has authored 5 book chapters and 2 international conference papers. He has a vast experience of industry as well as academia. He has served National Textile University as Chairperson of Polymer Engineering Department. He has been an organizer of the following

i)                   1st All Pakistan Chemical Engineering Convention 2022.

ii)                  1st Internal Conference on Physical Sciences and Engineering (ICPSE-2021).

iii)                1st Sounth Punjab Science Mela held at KFUEIT,Rahim Yar Khan (2021).

iv)              A seminar sponsored by WWF on circular economy 2021.

Moreover he has received certifications  of various  trainings including, Outcome based Education for Engineering Programs, workshop on scientific paper and patent writing by ICESCO, Outcome based education and academic quality assurance, Martial Arts, small arm safety and shooting course, HABC Level 2 Award in Health and Safety in the Workplace, GMP Certification by SGS Pakistan, workshop on occupational health and safety FWS Awareness (OHSAS-18001), Environmental Risk Assessment and Echo-Efficiency Program, ASPEN PLUS for Process Design and Simulation, among others.

Currently he is working as an Assistant Professor and coordinator/HOD of Chemical Engineering Department at Khawaja Fareed Unviersity of Engineering and Information Technology. He has an additional charge of Director Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC) at the same university.
