Dr. Muhammad Adeel Abid

I am currently serving as Lecturer in the Department of Data Science & Artificial Intelligence, KFUEIT, since January 2023. Before that, I served as Lecturer (IT) at KFUEIT from April 2018 to December 2022, after working for 8.5 years as SST (Computer Science) in the Punjab Education Department. I have also worked as Visiting Lecturer at The Islamia University of Bahawalpur (RYK Campus) for 9 years, and at Nicaas College and Superior Group of Colleges for 1 year each, and as Lecturer at Govt. Khawaja Fareed College, Rahim Yar Khan for 8 months. Earlier in my career I worked as a Web Developer at Magsnet Ltd, Karachi, and as Data Entry Supervisor at AOS Company, Rahim Yar Khan for about 3.5 years.
 

I completed my PhD in Computer Science at KFUEIT in 2026. My thesis, "IoT-based Biofloc Automation System for South Punjab Region," combines IoT and machine learning to monitor water-quality parameters and reduce fish mortality in biofloc tanks, and was supervised by Dr. Madiha Amjad and Dr. Kashif Munir. I earned my MS (CS) from The Islamia University of Bahawalpur in 2015 (thesis: "Recommending Domain Specific Keywords for Twitter," supervised by Dr. Saad Malik) and my MCS from the same university in 2008 with distinction, where I was awarded the Gold Medal. I also hold a B.Ed. from The Islamia University of Bahawalpur and a Diploma of Computer Operator/Office Assistant from Vocational Training Institute, Rahim Yar Khan. I belong to Rahim Yar Khan.
