Dr. Habib Ali is a distinguished researcher in entomology and insect pest management, currently serving as a faculty member at Khawaja Fareed University of Engineering and Information Technology (KFUEIT), Pakistan. With a strong academic foundation and a profound passion for advancing agricultural sciences, he has established himself as a leading expert in insect biodiversity, pest control strategies, and host–microbe interactions. Dr. Ali earned his Ph.D. in Agricultural Entomology and Insect Pest Control from Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University (FAFU), China. His doctoral research laid the groundwork for his subsequent scholarly impact, particularly in the areas of symbiotic bacteria, invasive pests, and sustainable pest management.

With an exceptional record of 170+ peer-reviewed international publications, Dr. Ali has contributed substantially to high-impact journals, including Frontiers in Microbiology, International Journal of Biological Macromolecules, Scientific Reports, Molecular Phylogenetics and Evolution, Insects, Journal of Economic Entomology, and Microbial Pathogenesis. He has also authored 15 international books published by renowned academic publishers such as Elsevier, Springer, Taylor & Francis, Cambridge Scholars Publishing, and IntechOpen, demonstrating his strong scholarly influence and global outreach. Dr. Ali’s academic excellence has been recognized through numerous prestigious awards. He was awarded the Gold Medal for outstanding performance by the Governor of Punjab and the Worthy Vice Chancellor, KFUEIT, marking a significant milestone in his academic career.
