Biography

  • Dr. Hafiz Kabeer Raza Chishti has been working in academics and research since 2011 when he joined the prestigious Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute of Engineering Sciences and Technology (GIKIEST), Topi, Pakistan for his master’s degree in Materials Engineering. Dr. Chishti specialized in metal matrix composites from GIKIEST with his research was focused on copper-diamond composites. After his master’s degree, he joined the faculty of Materials Science and Engineering (FMSE) as a Research Associate (Lecturer) and participated in several research projects, which lead him to secure his scholarship for PhD at King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM), Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in 2015. At KFUPM, his research was focused on Computational Design and Development of Polymer Matrix Composites. Apart from the research and development, he has been teaching coursed related to mechanics and strength of materials at the undergraduate level. After having extensive experience of research and teaching in the international environment, he has recently joined the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Khwaja Fareed University of Engineering and Information Technology. Currently, he is working on design and development of polymer composites for the tubes of plastic heat exchanger. Another research work is related to design and development of microstructure controlled ultrahigh thermal conductivity polymer matrix composites.
