Research Interests

  • Multifunctional Nano-biomaterials and its applications on human and environmental health, e.g., Inhibition of amyloid causing protein, antibacterial, Drug Delivery and treatment of water.

Biography

Israr Ahmad joins Khwaja Fareed University of Engineering and Information Technology (KFUEIT) as an Assistant Professor of Physical Chemistry in the Department of Chemistry. Prior to coming to KFUEIT, he was an Assistant Professor at the University of Lahore (Sargodha Campus). Israr Ahmad completed his MSc from University of Sargodha and his MS and Ph.D. from the Beijing Institute of Technology (BIT) and University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (UCAS), National Center for Nanoscience and Technology Beijing China respectively.
Israr Ahmad interests include Research and Teaching as well. He has developed new Research group whose primary research interests are in the field of functional nano-biomaterials, its synthesis, characterization and its application on human and environment health. Besides research, he taught the Physical Chemistry related courses and won the University Certificate of Appreciation in 2020.
Israr Ahmad resides with his family in Sargodha. In his free time, he played cricket and explore the city for good vegetarian cuisine with his friend.
