Dr. Majeeda Rasheed
Assistant Professor
Ph.D. from University of the Punjab, Lahore

Dr. Majeeda Rasheed is pioneered faculty member of Department of Life Sciences, Khawaja Fareed University of Engineering and Information Technology, Rahim Yar Khan, Pakistan. She holds a PhD in Zoology (from University of The Punjab, Lahore) with a specialization in Ecology, Molecular Virology, Genomics and Phylogeny. Her research expertise spans Animal Sciences, Zoonosis, Microbiology, Public Health, Biodiversity, Nutraceuticals and Bioproducts. She has published around 52 Research, review articles and Book Chapters. and she is also part of National publisher group (Unique publishers). She published two books (Titles: Zoonosis, Complementary and Alternative Medicine: Immunization/Vaccinology) as an editor and contributed for more than five books as co-author. She supervised around 20 Research theses at MS level. She has been actively involved in community services with collaboration of various National organizations. Presently working as an assistant professor (TTS) in the department of Life Sciences, Khwaja Fareed University of Engineering and Information Technology (KFUEIT), RYK 64200, Pakistan. She has diverse work experience across various institutions and in an industry. Notably, she served as a Quality Assurance Manager in the industry setting, where she was responsible for ensuring the quality of grains and feed items for cattle. Additionally, she worked as a Master Trainer for a rural development project and trained women on small-scale entrepreneurship. Her academic experience includes stints as a lecturer at AKHUWAT-Faisalabad Institute of Science and Technology, Faisalabad, as well as at the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS), Lahore, and the University of Okara.
