Engr. Hammad Shahab
Lecturer
MSc Computer System Engineering ( The Islamia University Bahawalpur )

I am Engr. Hammad Shahab, Lecturer at the Institute of Computer and Software Engineering, KFUEIT, with over 13 years of experience in academia, IT projects, and research and development. I am pursuing a PhD in Computer Engineering with a focus on IoT-based self-powered systems for smart farming. My expertise includes the design and implementation of IoT systems for agriculture, livestock monitoring, and sustainable resource management, along with automation projects such as water RO plant operations using sensor data. I also have experience in developing mobile applications for real-time, cloud-based monitoring, enabling remote decision-making for farmers and stakeholders. In addition, I have excelled in teaching, research, and administration, published high-impact articles, supervised Ignite-funded projects, and contributed to PEC visit preparations for BS Computer Engineering, curriculum design, and the launch of BS Software Engineering and BS Robotics & Intelligent Systems, while actively serving on key university committees including the Proctor Committee/DSA, Career Counseling Centre, Admissions, Scholarships, Prospectus Committee, and Student Advising.
