Biography

Ms. Nimra Sameed is currently working as a lecturer at the Department of Food Science & Technology, Faculty of Engineering and Technology, Khawaja Fareed University of Engineering and Information Technology, Rahim Yar Khan. She has served as Assistant Food Safety Officer in Punjab Food Authority, Rahim Yar Khan. She has completed her Masters in Food Technology from University of Agriculture, Faisalabad. She has worked for one year in HEC funded research project entitled “Impact of Pathogenic Bacteria and Their Seasonal Influence on Safety Status of Ready to Eat (RTE) Foods in Punjab”.She has also performed her duties as Food Safety Team Leader and Laboratory Incharge in Allied Foods, Shahkot, Punjab. She has participated in many national & International Conferences, Symposia, Trainings, workshops and seminars. Her areas of expertise comprise Food Microbiology, Food Safety and standards.
