Engr. Dr. Abubakar Siddique

Abubakar Siddique was born in Lodhran (Punjab), Pakistan. He received his Ph.D. degree from North China Electric Power University (NCEPU) Beijing, China in 2019 and his Masters and Bachelor’s degrees from Islamia University Bahawalpur (IUB), Punjab, Pakistan in 2011 and 2013 respectively. Dr. Abubakar Siddique is currently working as an assistant professor and director high voltage lab in Electrical & Biomedical Engineering Department at Khwaja Fareed University of Engineering & Information Technology (KFUEIT) Punjab, Pakistan. Prior to joining KFUEIT, he was a lecturer at UCET Islamia University Bahawalpur (IUB) Pakistan since Aug, 2014. He is a professional member of the IEEE organization NJ, USA, member of IEEE Pakistan, and a member of The Institution of Engineers Pakistan (IEP). Further, he is also a life member of the Pakistan Engineering Council. He is an author and co-author of many highly indexed Journals and a potential reviewer of many papers in ISI, Scopus, and Conference proceeding Journals. Abubakar was awarded a fully funded doctoral scholarship from government of China. His research interests include Advanced Dielectric Materials and High Voltage insulating Testing Technology, perovskite solar cell (PSC) technology, and power quality control in electric power distribution systems.
