Biography

  • Dr. Asim is serving as Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry, at Khawaja Fareed University of Engineering and Information Technology (KFUEIT), Rahim Yar Khan.
  • In 2006, she received her MSc degree in Chemistry from Punjab University Lahore, with MSc thesis entitled as “Synthesis of oxalic acid from wheat straws”, and published her work in the Journal of Scientific Research 2007.
  • Before starting Ph.D., she broadened her research expertise working in Research & Development and Quality Assurance Department of the reputed company “Haleeb Foods Limited, Pakistan” as “Assistant Manager and Research Executive”, from 2007 to 2012. She worked there for the establishment of chemical laboratories at field areas, worked in food safety and hygiene control, etc.
  • In 2012-2016, she joined “The Xinjiang Technical Institute of Physics and Chemistry, CAS, China,” for PhD program. The main focus of her research was to develop porous materials/electrodes for flexible/wearable energy storages and environment protection. The outcomes of her search had been published in well reputed journals (Advanced Sustainable Systems, Chemosphere, RSC Advances and Scientific Reports) .
