A dignified ceremony was held at Khwaja Fareed University of Engineering and Information Technology (KFUEIT), Rahim Yar Khan, to mark the National Day of Solidarity and Security as well as Youm-e-Tashakur on the successful completion of Operation Bunyán-e-Marsous. The event was led by the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Ir. Dr. Aamir Azam Khan. On this occasion, the university’s smartly dressed guards presented a salute, followed by the national flag hoisting ceremony performed by the Vice Chancellor.

The ceremony was attended by Pro Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Shehzad Murtaza, Registrar Dr. Javed Iqbal, Dean Dr. Muhammad Sagir, heads of departments, faculty members, administrative officers, and a large number of students.

A special prayer was offered for the peace, security, and stability of the country, as well as for the eternal reward of the martyrs. The event also paid rich tribute to the armed forces of Pakistan and other national security institutions, highlighting the spirit of national unity, solidarity, and sacrifice.

In his address, Vice Chancellor Prof. Ir. Dr. Aamir Azam Khan stated that the sacrifices and professional excellence of Pakistan’s armed forces in safeguarding national defense and security are a matter of great pride and reassurance for the entire nation. He emphasized that during the recent Pakistan-India tensions, our armed forces demonstrated remarkable courage, strategy, and responsibility — setting a powerful example for the world. He further urged the youth to adopt values of national unity, patience, resilience, and discipline.

The event concluded with a reaffirmation of KFUEIT’s unwavering commitment to promoting national cohesion, respect for the armed forces, and the values of peace, sacrifice, and unity — which serve as the backbone of a strong and progressive Pakistan
